Honesty is the Best Policy

Honesty is the Best Policy

Mark Twain was once invited to speak to school children on ‘Honesty’ and he related this incident to them:
“I was of your age and one day I was playing with other kids in a street when a cart full of melons passed by. I could not resist the temptation, I ran after the cart and stole a melon and came back. As soon as I took a bite, a strange sense of guilt and remorse came over me. I ran after the cart again, put that melon back and picked up a ripe one.”

Subhash,

Just checked AB's new post. AB's blog seems to have become a very dangerous place today. I think I am going to give it a skip for a day or two till the negative forces disappear. Maybe you can post your quotes, one-liners and thoughts on your own blog for a short while. Your thoughts.

I agree with you.
I too intend to stay away from the BigBlog for the time being. I do not feel comfortable participating under the present circumstances.

Thank you for your visit.
I must say you are very brave, despite my warnings about the hazards involved, you made it.
Keep visiting it.
Also with all your blogging expertise, you are welcome to recommend what I can do to improve it. I have no idea what to do next.

Dear Mr. Wanderer

How come you have wandered off the bigB blog? It is taking for ever for me to read the blog now as I am challenged when it comes to reading Hindi. I am losing the meaning when I try to put the alphabets together. The translation tool is helping but it is worse than my HIndi. Enjoyed the Anand song.

Dear Reeham

I have nothing against anyone really - but I am against use of all offensive language and all objectionable content.

This Google Indic Transliteration tool is so fascinating that I can't help writing in Hindi...If possible I shall try to write the same in English too. I fully appreciate your difficulty. I am sure Big Boss would take care of it. You, Rasha, Rochelle, Reshmi.. are without doubt his most ardent admirers on his Blog.
All the best to you.

Dear Lakshmi

Regarding comments being written in Hindi, I do understand how it would be affecting those who do not know it at all or well enough.
On the other hand imagine how happy Mr. Bachchan feels now that he is able to write his posts in Hindi. I am sure he would keep in mind this problem of others and provide some translation in English (may be the gist only) so that they do not feel cheated.

I would like to suggest some good English to Hindi translation sites - after I do a bit of research on the net.
