GUNS N' ROSES

Guns N' Roses - sold an estimated 100 million albums worldwide, including over 42 million in the United States. The band's 1987 debut album, entitled Appetite for Destruction, has sold 27 million copies worldwide and reached number one on the United States Billboard 200.

CIVIL WAR

"What we've got here is failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach...So, you get what we had here last week, which is the way he wants it!Well, he gets it!N' I don't like it any more than you men."

Look at your young men fighting
Look at your women crying
Look at your young men dying
The way they've always done before
Look at the hate we're breeding
Look at the fear we're feeding
Look at the lives we're leading
The way we've always done before.....
.........
And I don't need your civil war
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor
Your power hungry sellin' soldiers
In a human grocery store
Ain't that freshI don't need your civil war...
...........
I don't need one more war
Whaz so civil 'bout war anyway ?

Hi!
How've you been? Have completely de-addicted myself from sirji's blog so you'll have to update me.

Hi Madhumita

Great to hear from you.

Life goes on...
The bigb blog seems to have lost some of its earlier charm due to many of the regular and familiar writers like you and others missing form there for days and days. The controversies and clashes over cross commenting have had quite a negative effect on it's overall cheerfulness.

Most of those we know, have shifted to communicating on Facebook - which includes Sunil, Reshmi, Reeham, Kashmira...
However I find Facebook not very easy to use - and it does not give you the same feeling of sharing your thoughts etc as the blog.
In a way it is good to de-addict. It was becoming too time consuming at the cost of other things of much more importance and consequence getting neglected.

What you have been up to? Do try to send the rose pictures if you can. Thanks and do keep in touch. All the best.

Hi again
Seems like I haven't missed much then! FB seems like too much trouble specially with a tech. challenged person like me :D so I'm staying away at least for now.
Been bsy writing, which you may soon see in TOI and MT (don't laugh, it's hard cash!) Am keeping in touch with few fellow bloggers through mail- the most wonderful side-effect of sir's blog.
Don'thave the foggiest idea how to share some pics with you, is your mail id somewhere on this blog?
Roses will still take time but some others from our garden are there.
See you then, take care

Hi

Look forward to reading your write ups soon. Good luck with it ! If you do not mind sharing, I am keen to know, how paying is writing for say TOI ?

Yes indeed, the biggest side effect of bigb bigadda blog is the introduction and connectivity with some very nice people and the family like bonds it has helped to create.

You can use skaura4@gmail.com to send any pictures / mail to me.

See you later

Hello Reeham

Thanks for writing so promptly.
Also read your msg on the wall.
Always good to hear from you.

Good you liked the words of the song 'Civil War' by Guns N' Roses. It is a one time top US hard rock band. I like them. You would also like them if you can stand hard rock (many find it too loud and noisy for their liking).

I would definitely write on the facebook as suggested by you once I get a feel and hang of it.
Take good care.
