Thanks you so much. Children are so sweet and innocent .... you can't help loving and caring for them. When they start becoming worldly wise, they loose some of that charm but are always so dear to the parents ....

Hi,
Just read your comment at sir's blog--one question--where are those people? Ones with proven track records etc? That's the major reason I never ever vote--there is nobody to vote for--until and unless our E.C starts meaning business by allowing tickets only to the truly deserving candidates.

I agree with you - such genuine people are hard to find in the present scenario but I am sure there must be many capable, honest, sincere and deserving persons who can deliver what we have badly missed so far - a clean administration which works, has its priorities right, does some good for the country and its people. Such people do not come forward knowing that politics in India is a very dirty game suited to the rough, tough, the wicked and the mean..... It is a vicious circle. On account of those fears, good honest people do not step forward and the crooks continue to have a field day in looting and plundering the country....
Without doubt there is no easy solution...till the masses themselves become educated and vote wisely, we shall remain caught in our own style of 'democrazy' as someone called it the other day...

Did you work with your Dad's diaries then, Subhash? It sounds interesting what you say about his day-to-day recollections and general pieces. Maybe you could take a date and write down here (on your blog) what he noted on that day, from his diary... Something on the lines of 'page(s) from my father's diary...'

Good to see your daughters when they were tiny tots! So sweet!
